DIGITIZED FILE
EXAMPLE
This would mean you previously had your team or
company’s logo digitized / transformed from an image or text to stitch file that an embroidery machine can read. We would need the file submitting in either Tajima .dst or .emb format. Don’t worry if you haven’t because we can digitize your crest for you for a small set-up charge.
VECTOR BASED ARTWORK
EXAMPLE
If you had your artwork created by a graphic designer or a design studio you more than likely can get your artwork in this format.
Vector images are defined as a series of points and lines. These make them ideally when creating prints or transfers for sponsor prints. Vector files types end in .ai, .eps, .cdr.
If your designer or design studio is able to send you this file, please ask them to convert all text to outlines or curves before sending. This will avoid any problems with fonts but don’t worry if they don’t because we have a large stock file of fonts so there’s a 99.9% chance we’ll have yours.
SCANNED OR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
EXAMPLE
If you don’t have a digitized file or a vector file of your crest or logo don’t panic because here at Surridge we have
talented designers that can recreate your artwork in the formats that we need.
All we ask is you send a good clear digital photograph or scan of your current crest or logo at no less than 150dpi but if you can 300dpi is better. Scanned or digital photography is usually in the format of .bmp, .jpg, .pdf, .gif file
You can send us a photograph or scan of either an embroidery / print from a garment you already have, or even from a letterhead, business card or photocopy.
CONCEPT ART
EXAMPLE
If you only have a rough sketch or concept we will be able to create your logo for you. Maybe you have a picture you want but the text changing or you want a new design
creating from scratch, Please note, there is a small charge for new logo designs.
COLOURS
Please make sure if your have any specific colours that you supply these along with your artwork regardless of format.
OTHER
We understand not everyone will have the file formats that we work with - so send us what you have even if it’s clipart, Microsoft word, tiff, or even a weblink. We’ll try our best!
